The Sanskrit term used for water associated with this substance can be translated as “pristine water.” Dr. Raghavan discovered that this term holds a profound meaning: it refers specifically to the water from the melting glacier of Mount Kailash.

Mount Kailash, located in present-day China (formerly part of Tibet), is revered by Hindus as a sacred site and the Earthly abode of Lord Shiva.
