Random, disciplined or “set in their ways”?
G’day,
We probably all know people with a wide variety of behavioural patterns.
There are those who appear to us as utterly disorganised and random in their personal lives, whilst at the other end of the behavioural spectrum, those who have turned their daily lives into a series of time-sensitive repetitions and almost sacred rituals.
Between these 2 extremes, you’re likely to find the majority of your fellow humans.
It is doubtless commendable to have some order in one’s life. Without order, we deny ourselves dominion over our lives. So, it is useful that we develop and adhere to some daily and regular habits which contribute positively to our health and happiness.
Good Health and Joyful Happiness. Essential together – as each creates the other. So, developing and maintaining habits (or rituals) which serve these goals is a pretty sensible way to go about life.
For those who struggle with forming and maintaining good habits, help may already be in your midst. If you are blessed to have friends around you who live such positive habits, their steady example may support you in becoming or remaining disciplined. Perhaps you have a friend who leaps out of bed and goes straight down to the beach for a bracing walk, breathwork and meditation each morning before anything else. Or perhaps another who sets their clock every day for a restorative nap, or another who takes a daily sunset walk through their favourite parkland. These are wonderful, health-giving, joyful activities which have a positive effect on our disposition, and thus our immune system.
Another life-enhancing habit is using NANO SOMA® each day. And if you’re over 50, making it a twice or thrice daily discipline can bring improvements to your life in ways you could never have predicted.
Make it a life-long ritual.
Namaste.
John
