Welcome to Who Knew? A monthly Q&A with John, our Australian General Manager.
John writes: “In this blog, I seek to provide information our MagicDichol® Family will find interesting. Sometimes this is a response to a question from one of you, and sometimes it is just information I’m excited to share. I invite you to join me each month, and feel free to send your questions to me at [email protected]
G’day.
I have a weakness. Well – truth be told – several, but the one I’m talking about is a penchant for ageing Mercedes cars. As you might imagine, it’s a rich person’s hobby, so most of my interest is expressed through observation rather than collection, and last year I reluctantly joined Facebook for the express purpose of gaining access to the various MB fan pages.
However, those pesky algorithms weren’t going to allow me to just settle there, and it wasn’t long before I wandered into the realms of organic farming, and real food. Not surprising, since what we do here at MagicDichol® is bring awareness of health through food. In fact, our hero product IS food: NANO SOMA®! We market it as a Nutritional Supplement. Because it is.
So, when I came across a very enthusiastic young man on Facebook talking about how real food has the ability to re-connect people, I paid attention.
This month, I want to introduce him to our MagicDichol family, as I feel his message will resonate with many of you. He belongs with us. His name is Henry Wood, and you can find him as Rambling Henry on various social media platforms. https://www.facebook.com/henry.wood.303784/
Henry is an English bloke who is nothing if not passionate about bringing awareness to the relationships we have with our health and community, and to the earth and real food.
Here is some of what Henry said recently:
“Most people don’t even realise it anymore, but we’ve become completely disconnected from each other. Everyone’s guarded, everyone’s performing, everyone’s competing. Status, money, followers, clothes, hair, body shape, appearance. People are terrified of being judged, being replaced, being left behind, and the strangest part is that people act completely differently in groups than they do when you’re alone with them, because modern society has turned being human into a performance.
We’ve been conditioned to compare ourselves constantly since childhood. School teaches competition, television feeds division, social media turns life into theatre, and slowly, community disappears.
But if you zoom out far enough, you realise something important.
Human beings were never designed to live like this.
For most of our existence, survival depended on co-operation. The hunt was shared. The winters were shared. The fires were shared. Food was shared. We survived because we needed each other.
And now? Now most people don’t even know their own neighbours. We eat food made in factories, watch strangers through screens and wonder why anxiety, loneliness and distrust are exploding.
They’re exploding because we disconnected from reality itself. From nature, from the land, from the seasons, from animals, from sunlight, from real conversation and – most importantly – from real food.
Food is not just calories. Food is culture. Food is memory. Food is community.
Food is human connection and I truly believe if there is one thing powerful enough to reconnect people again – to bring families back around tables, to reconnect us to the land, to restore wildlife and biodiversity, to help save what’s left of nature, to restore health, meaning and community – it starts with real food.
Not products, not chemicals, not factory formulas. Real Food.
And then maybe, just maybe, that’s how we find each other again.”
Thank you, Henry. And NANO SOMA fits right into the heart of all this. Helping our bodies and our communities fully connect with themselves and each other in profound ways.
Blessings,
John
